TOCA STUDENT · Lesson 16 · Tarraxo and feeling

Tarraxa starts inside the body, not in the steps

The movement starts in the pelvis, not in the legs. Picture a belt you slide forward and back, then side to side. Knees soft, because a locked knee blocks the hip. The upper body stays calm while the lower body works.

Dawou Tarraxo, pioneer of Tarraxo. Tarraxa starts inside the body, not in the steps

Small range first. Cleanliness matters far more than size.

The drill that settles it: back against the wall, shoulder blades flat, move the pelvis eight times without peeling the upper back off. The wall is the judge.

Body isolation is the alphabet of tarraxa and tarraxo.
