The art of the cue. How to say it so the body understands

Give the result, not the order. Do it again tells the student nothing they did not already know. Your weight stopped halfway, it did not arrive on the front foot, hands them exactly what was missing.

Dawou Tarraxo, pioneer of Tarraxo. The art of the cue. How to say it so the body understands

Cue one thing at a time, because five corrections are five corrections forgotten. Say it, show it, and when it is welcome, guide it.

And prefer images to instructions. A thread pulling the crown of your head to the ceiling changes a posture faster than lengthen your cervical spine.

An external focus cue changes a kizomba class faster than a long explanation.

Share your most effective cue.
