The first three seconds of a kizomba dance decide the rest of it
You arrive, you take the frame, and your partner already knows who you are. Before anything moves, breathe low and slow, and let the weight drop into the middle of the foot. Rooted, never frozen.
Then place your contact points calmly. The chest says where we go, the arm says how, the hip and the knee say when and at what distance. Offer a surface, not a grip. Constant contact does not mean constant pressure.
Tone, not tension. A tense body cannot listen, and it cannot be listened to either.
Next social, spend three full seconds arriving before you propose anything.
Presence, ground and clean contact points, that is the whole start.
