How to read the room as a dance teacher

The people in front of you are the class. Watch their faces, their breathing, their energy. Notice when confusion becomes silence, and when repetition becomes boredom.

Dawou Tarraxo, pioneer of Tarraxo. How to read the room as a dance teacher

Then adjust the pace without abandoning the objective. A room that has gone quiet and stiff needs a change of energy far more than another correction.

A strong teacher teaches the room they have, not the room they planned for. Awareness is a teaching skill.
