TOCA STUDENT · Lesson 06 · Kizomba technique

How to lead in kizomba without imposing. A leader proposes

Leading begins before the visible movement. You create a clear intention, you give your partner the time to receive it, and you observe the answer before adding anything else.

Dawou Tarraxo, pioneer of Tarraxo. How to lead in kizomba without imposing. A leader proposes

The most common mistake I correct is dragging the follower into your own timing. It works, in the sense that the movement happens. It also kills the dialogue.

A clear lead creates choice, trust and conversation. The goal was never obedience.

Clear leading works the same in kizomba, tarraxo and urbankiz.

Leaders, save this before your next social.
